Shaneal Diiren: Founder & Head Coach

Growing up with asthma, an auto-immune condition that inflames his skin and liver, and medication-related weight gain, Shaneal reached 90kg in his late teens. He managed to marginally improve his health but it got worse during the lockdowns.

A mix of life complications, career stress and worsening health conditions became his turning point. 

He knew the one thing he had control over was his health. He rebuilt it through nutrition, strength training and sustainable habits and has spent the last 6 years helping others do the same.

He specialises in fat loss, mobility and injury rehab, and has helped over 100 people lose fat, build strength and create routines that actually stick. He works with both men and women.

I have tried online coaching before. Why would this be different?

We begin with your actual life and identify why previous attempts failed. No two people will have the same approach, as someone may need more care given to their nutrition, while a different person may need to structure their stress management. We address the cause of the problem, not it's symptoms. That's why our clients succeed so well, not because of how many calories they eat or steps they take. 

How much time do I need before seeing results?

If you implement our program and take our feedback, expect to start seeing positive changes in your body and energy levels within the first 14 days. 

Can this work around injuries?

Your limitations are considered when the plan is built. Exercises can be modified and progressed appropriately, and you will also be given some rehab work when deemed necessary. Fat loss is just the first phase, we want you to be all around a fitter and healthier person.

Do I need separate food from my family?

No. We usually keep the same meal base and adjust portions, protein, sauces and snacks for your goals. If anything, we will work with you to create healthier recipes so that you can always have dinner with your family without feeling left out.

Do I track calories forever?

No. Tracking is used as an awareness tool, then gradually replaced by repeatable meals and confident choices. The aim is food knowledge, and building the awareness within yourself on how to eat without anxiety. 

Can online coaching provide enough accountability?

This is a two way street. To get the best results, we need you to be present and honest with your coaches at all times. Telling us about a bad week is better than not telling us at all. We don't judge, we are here to help.
